Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Jothashilpa website and any order you place through it. Jothashilpa is operated by Jothashilpa ("we", "us"). By placing an order or using this website you agree to these terms.

1. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email, SMS or phone, or when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order, for example when an item is out of stock, a price or description contains an error, or we cannot verify your details. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund the amount paid.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in BDT and include applicable taxes unless the page says otherwise. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout before you place the order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which may include Cash on Delivery, mobile wallets, cards and bank transfer. Prices and offers can change without notice, but a change does not affect an order we have already accepted.

3. Delivery

Delivery areas, charges and timelines are described in our Shipping and Delivery Policy. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

4. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under our Refund and Return Policy. Please read it before you order.

5. Your account and conduct

You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and for the information you give us. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or place orders with false details.

6. Product information

We try to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the real product, and sizes may vary within normal tolerance. If a product is not as described, our Refund and Return Policy applies.

7. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, images, logos and design, belongs to Jothashilpa or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the products, and our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
