Refund and Return Policy
This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work at Jothashilpa. It applies to orders placed on this website and is read together with our Terms and Conditions.
1. Return window
You may ask to return or exchange an eligible item within 7 days of receiving it. Please contact us within this period and keep the item and its packaging until we confirm.
2. What can be returned
- Items that arrive damaged, defective or different from what you ordered.
- Items that are unused, unwashed, in their original condition and packaging, with tags and accessories.
For hygiene and safety, some items cannot be returned unless faulty, for example underwear, personal care items, opened consumables, custom-made items and gift cards. Items marked as final sale are not returnable unless faulty.
3. How to start a return
Contact us by email at jothashilpa.isd@gmail.com or by phone at +8801712122415 with your order number and, for a faulty item, a photo. We will confirm whether the return is accepted and explain how to send the item back or arrange pickup.
4. Refunds
After we receive and check the returned item, we refund the amount paid for it in the same way you paid, or as store credit if you prefer. Refunds are usually processed within 10 working days of approval, and your bank or wallet provider may need extra time to show it. For Cash on Delivery orders we refund to a mobile wallet or bank account you provide.
5. Delivery charges
If the return is due to our error, a damaged or a wrong item, we cover the return delivery and refund the delivery charge. For other returns, delivery charges are not refunded and the return delivery may be at your cost.
6. Exchanges
Where you want a different size or colour, we exchange it subject to stock. If the item is not available we refund you instead.
7. Cancelling an order
You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us. Orders already dispatched follow the return process above.
